In everyday life, many of us are constantly on the go. We do, think, organise. We care for others. We solve problems and move on to the next task. Sometimes, even when the body is ready to rest, the mind keeps going. So, this session was created for people who would like to slow down for a little while.

Not to fix themselves and not to work on themselves. Simply to pause, take a breath, and give their mind and body a little space.

If you find it difficult to relax, if you long for a moment just for yourself, a chance to slow down and reconnect with your own needs, this session is for you.

Perhaps you need some quiet after a busy week. Perhaps you would like to support your nervous system and create space for rest. Or maybe you are simply curious about hypnosis.

Whatever your reason, you are warmly welcome.

What is Hypnosis?

There are many myths surrounding hypnosis. Some people worry about losing control, being influenced against their will, or not being aware of what is happening during the session.

Yet most people experience something very different. Perhaps you have read a book so captivating that for a moment you drifted into the world of your imagination. You were still sitting in the same place, still aware of the sounds around you, yet your attention was focused elsewhere. For many people, hypnosis feels similar. Attention gradually turns inward, towards your own thoughts, sensations, imagination and inner experience, while you remain aware and in control throughout.

During the session, you will hear my voice, and you can open your eyes, move, or stop the experience whenever you choose.

Who is this session for?

This session may be a good fit for you if:

  • you find it difficult to relax
  • you feel like you are constantly in “doing mode”
  • you would like a moment just for yourself
  • you struggle to quiet your mind in the evening
  • you experience tension, overwhelm or overstimulation
  • you would like to create a regular pause in your week
  • you are curious about hypnosis

So, you do not need to have a specific problem or previous experience with hypnosis. All you need is the willingness to give yourself half an hour of peace.

What might you notice after the session?

Everyone experiences hypnosis in their own way.

Many participants notice:

  • easier sleep
  • greater calm in the evening
  • deeper relaxation

For many people, the most important part is not hypnosis itself. It is the opportunity to pause for a moment and take a break from everyday demands. To give the nervous system a signal of safety and create space for rest, recovery and calm.

How does the session work?

We meet online via Zoom. The session takes place in the evening, so you are welcome to join in comfortable clothes, wrap yourself in a blanket, and create a cosy space where you can fully relax. Many people choose to go straight to bed afterwards and continue enjoying the feeling of calm and relaxation.

Although this is a group session, we only see each other briefly at the beginning to say hello and settle in. After that, each participant turns their attention inward and experiences the session in their own way, from the comfort and privacy of their own space. There is nothing you need to prepare. Simply show up for yourself.

About the Facilitator

Marta Watroba – Clinical Hypnotherapist based in the UK. In my day-to-day work, I provide individual 1:1 hypnotherapy sessions online, supporting people with stress, anxiety, overwhelm, sleep difficulties and other challenges affecting their wellbeing.

I offer these relaxation hypnosis sessions a few times each year as an opportunity to pause, rest and consciously support your wellbeing in a gentle and accessible way.

The purpose of this session is to create space for relaxation, rest and mental wellbeing. It is not a therapy session and does not replace individual hypnotherapy. As such, no specific outcomes or results are promised.
